I’m currently working full-time as a Data Scientist at Home Team Science and Technology Agency (HTX) in Singapore. Outside of full-time work, I also do some research (as a hobby) in the following (non-exhaustive) areas:

  • Natural language processing - tokenization, multilingualism, LLM
  • Text graph neural networks
  • Entity / relationship extraction

I graduated with BEng (Hons) in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore.

I am currently a part-time student at National University of Singapore (NUS), pursuing Master of Computing in Artificial Intelligence.

2026.07 started my Masters dissertation research, advised by Prof Ng Hwee Tou (NUS) and Prof Philipp Koehn (Johns Hopkins University)

2026.04 started building with the team @ ZenLow.

2026.03 released a preprint titled More Human, More Efficient: Aligning Annotations with Quantized SLMs with my co-author Wang Jiayu @ HTX.

2025.08 started my part-time studies in Master of Computing in Artificial Intelligence @ NUS.

2025.07 presented Word and Phrase Features in Graph Convolutional Network for Automatic Question Classification at the International Joint Conference on Neural Networks (IJCNN) in Rome, Italy. This work was co-authored with Ninad Dixit, Kaustav Chakrabarti, and S. Supraja.

2025.05 presented Jamo-Level Subword Tokenization in Korean Machine Translation at the Eighth Workshop on Technologies for Machine Translation of Low-Resource Languages (LoResMT) @ NAACL 2025. This work was co-authored with Marco Cognetta, Sangwhan Moon, and Naoaki Okazaki.

2024.07 graduated from NTU and started working @ HTX.
